• The purge optimizer feature of DP Series dryers reduces the purge loss. The operation of thepurge economizer is governed by a controller. The flow of purge air is set at a percentage of the maximum flow using a switch. The controller closes the purge valve when sufficient purge air has been used. Thus the purge loss depends on the amount of air used. The purge loss, which is normally 14%, can be reduced to as little as 5.6%.

Economy:

• There is no pressure spike during changeovers. This extends the life of the desiccant.
